The grading system used for the 2024 GCE Results evaluation follow a letter grading system which is based on percentages scored. Each grade signifies a numerical value of points scored. The total number of points scored can be used to determine the quality of a student’s result.

Advanced Level General and Technical ATC

Letter grades A, B, C, D and E represent a passing grade. The A grade being the highest and the E grade being the lowest passed grades. Grade F is failed U is considered ungraded (unclassified) also representing a fail. Grades lower than C are not stated on the certificate. PASSED GRADES

A/L and ATC GCE Results 2024 has With Grades 5(five) pass grades gotten after the marks for papers 1, 2 , and 3 have been combined together. They are; AB, C, D and E. The total mark is always on 100 (paper 1, 25%, paper 2, 35% and paper 3, 40 %). The marks for the different grades are seen below:

A grade = 75-100

B grade = 70-75

C grade = 65-70

D grade = 55-65

E grade = 50-55

FAILED GRADES

The failed grades for the A/L and ATC Results GCE 2024 PDF Download Released are O, and F. In years when the performances are generally very poor for a particular subject, Chief Examiners after a serious deliberation may decide to go as low as taking 45 points as a pass under E grade but will however apply only for that particular subject. Note should be taken that it will apply only for that particular examination session. Thus it doesn’t guarantee that 45 % will be taken as an F grade pass in subsequent years. Grade F is considered as total failure while O is considered as compensatory (This means if marked at ITC standard candidate could score a mark equal to a C grade at the ITC Level).

Grades also have points as follows; A = 5 points, B = 4 , C = 3 , D= 2 points and C = 1 point.
